“Jackpot, It is a well known “fact” that to born in Finland is like winning in a lottery. When measuring education, health, quality of life, economic dynamism and political stability, Finland is a dream come true! And let’s not forget our superior mental and physical capabilities. Finland has more summer Olympic medals per capita than any other country in the world. Finland is freaking PERFECT!

Jackpot is about the land of these lucky people. Country where way too many people think that the rest of the world doesn’t really concern them unless it’s a holiday in the Canaries.

For many Finns the rapidly changing world is pretty difficult to handle. I’m really proud to be Finn and there’s so many aspects in the every day Finnish life that I appreciate but in the past couple of years things have somehow gotten sidetracked.

Jackpot is my photographic notebook of todays anomalies that appear in all the perfectness of this nordic heaven, the “Jacpot”.”
